PRC ID RENEWAL

My PRC ID expired Jan. 03, 2022 but I did the renewal Dec. 20,2021.  I must say that the renewal process was hassle free and I am happy that it has been automated.  I did experience the manual renewal (my first renewal) and the process has improved since then.

Renewal Process

The first step is to register to PRC's Licensure Examination & Registration Information System (LERIS).  Click the link below.

https://online.prc.gov.ph/Home

Registration Tab. You will need to fill-up the needed information.

After successful registration, you may now sign-in to your account.  On the upper right portion of your account page, click the "SELECT TRANSACTION"

After clicking a tab will pop up showing the transactions available on LERIS.  Click the "RENEWAL".  Select Certified Public Accountant as profession and input PRC License Number then click proceed.

You can book now for a slot or appointment.   In my case I booked Nov. 16 and the latest available slot  was Dec. 16, 2021 at Robinsons Novaliches PRC Service Center.  I grabbed the opportunity with the thought that it might be hard to book for a slot later than Dec. 16.  Also, I did not want to risk applying Jan. 2022 or after expiration of my PRC ID.

After I confirmed the slot, I paid the renewal fee of Php 450 right away using Paymaya. There are options for payment available.

After payment, you may now click the "Existing Transaction".  You may print the OR and the document.

Print the document shown below.  This is needed on the day of the appointment.
Come Dec. 16, 2021, the day of my appointment, there was a terrible traffic in Commonwealth Ave.  I did not make it within the scheduled time.  The PRC was close already when I arrived.  I thought of just rebooking the schedule however, there was no cancel option on my existing transaction with PRC.  So I can't book for another appointment.  Tried calling PRC on what should I do to no avail.  Tried emailing them as well but it was days after when I received a reply.  I was done with the renewal.  But yes, the slot can still be used per PRC.  No need to set another schedule.

What I did was I went back to PRC Novaliches on Dec. 20, 2021 using the Dec. 16 appointment.  Gladly, I was entertained and my renewal was processed.  For the CPD units, I was asked for 15 units worth of seminar.  Good thing I still have my seminars certificates taken within 3 years.  It was accepted.  Though an Affidavit of Undertaking is an option had I don't have the CPD requirements.

Also, make sure to upload updated photo to your account.  In my case, I took a selfie with white background and uploaded it to my account.  It was accepted.

After about 10 minutes of waiting, my name was called and my renewed PRC ID was handed.  It was that fast and smooth!
